On November 4, 1967, by order of the head of the Lviv Interregional Department of Vocational and Technical Education in the city of Lyuboml, Volyn region, on the basis of secondary school No. 2, vocational school No. 63 was opened.

The first administrative building was located in a mobile construction trailer, and the educational building was located in a one-story wooden building, which was built in 1945 as a stable for the border detachment. The dormitory, gymnasium and dining room of the school were located in a two-story building, built at the beginning of the 18th century by Count Branytsky (an architectural monument).

In January 1970, in connection with the creation of the Volyn Regional Department of Vocational and Technical Education, Lyuboml school received serial number 8, and from 02.01.2004 it was reorganized into Lyuboml vocational lyceum.

In 1983 on 1 Travnya Street, a new dormitory building was opened, designed for 360 places.

The new 1992-1993 academic year began for teachers and students with a housewarming party and the transition to a newly built building (modern building)

In 2003, Volodymyr Dutko was appointed director of the school, who heads the educational institution to this day.

The Lyceum closely cooperates with the Lyuboml department of the Kovel branch of the Volyn regional employment center: training and retraining of the unemployed population in the professions of "cook", etc. is carried out.

The Lyceum provides training in working professions, vocational training, retraining and advanced training according to the License issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

• Waiter, bartender (1.5 years of study);

• Plasterer; tiler (10 months of study);

The staff of the lyceum consists of 66 people, of whom 34 are teachers, 10 teachers of the institution are teachers of the highest category, 7 have the pedagogical title of "Senior Teacher", 10 masters of industrial training - the pedagogical title of "Master of Industrial Training of the I and II Categories".

The educational building is equipped with 20 classrooms, 10 workshops, 2 laboratories.

About 250 students study at the lyceum. The institution has created a Student Republic, which is headed by the President. The President's elections are held annually by the team of students and teachers of the lyceum.

The vocational lyceum has signed contracts for the training of qualified workers in the following industries:

• Construction, installation, repair and construction works - LLC "Budivelnyk";

• Woodworking production - FOP "Shtangret" city of Lyuboml;

• Sewing production - LLC "Fabryka VV" Volodymyr;

• Public catering - LLC "Nadiia" Lyuboml

The geographical location and course of Ukraine for Eurointegration prompted the lyceum staff to international cooperation.

Since 2012, the vocational lyceum has been establishing cooperation with educational institutions of the Republic of Poland (Parchew and Lublin counties). A cooperation agreement has been signed with the Union of Factory Schools and General Education Lyceum No. 1 in Włodawa.

Students whose parents defend our country as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and forcibly displaced children who live in a dormitory, at the invitation of Father Jan Buras - Director of the Center, rest and recover in the integration center "Zamlynnia", which was created in the village of the same name in Lyuboml region by the charitable religious mission "Caritas - Spes" of the Lutsk Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church. Every year, lyceum students participate in the celebration of International Children's Day in the integration center, which is held thanks to the financing of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk.

The lyceum, as one of the eight pilot institutions of the region, has been participating in the Ukrainian-Estonian project "Providing Estonia's experience to support vocational education reforms in Ukraine" since 2016 and has collaborated with the Tallinn School of Service. In October 2019, the second stage of the project was held, which provided for the holding of master classes on the profession of cook by Estonian colleagues, on the basis of the vocational lyceum.

In 2024, the lyceum joined the Estonian-Ukrainian project "Support for the modernization of the Ukrainian education system in western Ukraine". Pedagogical

employees visited educational institutions in Estonia and Finland, identified areas for using Estonian-Finnish experience in the work of the lyceum.

Junior Achievement Ukraine

Since 2024, our educational institution has joined the projects organized by the international organization Junior Achievement Ukraine: “Recovery through social entrepreneurship” (the lyceum team reached the finals of the national competition) and implemented the “Company” program - the most widespread educational program on entrepreneurship for youth in Europe
